Today, procrastination is not an option!

Refer to (Revelation 22:12).

Make it personal.

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
Open my heart to perceive Your way…

Jesus freak – intense personal devotion to and study of Jesus Christ and His teachings; zealous evangelicalism.

How many of us have been embarrassed or offended when referred to as a Jesus freak, as if it was the worst possibly thing to be referred to as.

Some folks may try to persecute believers by calling us names, such as Bible thumper or Jesus Freak, as if there is some shame to loving God so much that we talk about him, we study His ways, and we spread His Gospel all the time. And equally worse is us feeling embarrassed or ashamed to such a point of denying being a Jesus freaks or not talking about Him when around certain people or environment—because Jesus freak sounds so hard and unbecoming to the natural ear. But guess what, being a Jesus freak is a great thing. In fact we should receive it as a compliment, and continue doing just what we are called to do: proclaim the Gospel to EVERYONE.

We should all strive to be Jesus Freaks….

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” (Romans 8:16 ESV).

“And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is
exalted.” (Isaiah 12:4 ESV).

“Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the people!” (Psalm 96:3 ESV).

Agape love – that God love; that self-sacrificing love,
Deborah

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
I’m crying out to You…

Change – to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone.

Some of us may ask the question: How can I change my negative behaviors toward him or her; towards this or that?

We first need to identify and change the belief we have on the behavior we are trying to change. Make sense?

It may be hard going down that long lonely road of change, and at times it may even seem fearful. It may look ugly, and it may be tedious, but the fun and rewards is the true journey. The journey entails allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us and with us. Let’s pay attention as we move forward. Let’s take it all in knowing that we are not alone, and our change in Jesus Christ is already here. We just have to catch up to it.

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise him.” (Psalm 28:7 NKJV).

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4 NIV).

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
Let Your Spirit fall down on me…

Spiritual – supernatural being; the intrinsic nature or indispensable quality of; the basic, real, and invariable nature of a thing or its significant individual features; of or relating to, consisting of, or affecting the spirit.

Most of us know that God is our Spiritual Father. But, do we really understand Him, the God that we serve? Let’s ask ourselves, are we taking God for granted? Are we mocking Him through our actions? Are we in repentance of our daily sins? Are we putting our best effort forth to not repeat them? Are we?…

Let’s make a conscious decision to “knock it off” and change. We all need to change. Not our way of change, His way of change. Our very lives depend on the Jesus in us.

“Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?” (Romans 2:4 NIV).

“For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.” (Colossians 1:27 NLT).

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
I am Your diamond in the rough…

Important – of great significance or value; likely to have a profound effect on success, survival, or well-being; having power, authority, or influence.

It’s important what we hear—especially when hearing the words of Jesus Christ. It’s important what others tell us. But, most important—and this is not to be taken lightly—is what we tell ourselves. What we tell ourselves is more powerful than any other voice we allow to enter our minds. It dictates our flesh, the way we think, and the way we move. So let’s—at all cost necessary—speak positive words of encouragement into our own lives by allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us in our thoughts. Let’s quit following the patterns of our flesh.

“The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.” (Romans 8:7 NIV).

“Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.” (Ephesians 4:23 NLT).

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.” (Proverbs 18:21 ESV).

Refer to (Revelation 22:12).

Make it personal.

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
Let my heart no longer feel comfortable when doing things You grieve…

Ashamed – embarrassed or guilty because of one’s actions, characteristics, or associations; reluctant to do something through fear of embarrassment or humiliation; feeling guilt, or disgrace; feeling inferior or unworthy.

Are we ashamed by some of the things we do? We may not be able to change anything else outside of us, but we have the power to change what we do in our lives. We don’t have to feel ashamed—that’s an obstacle designed to shut us down, what we need to do is be mindful to change the behavior that makes us feel ashamed. We must be totally aware that our input determines our output. It really doesn’t get any simpler than that. If we don’t like the output, let’s change the input!

“So now, correct your ways and deeds and obey the voice of the LORD your God so that He might relent concerning the disaster that He warned about.” (Jeremiah 26:13 HCSB).

“”He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”” (1 Peter 2:24 NIV).

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
I am your work in progress…

Appreciate – recognize the full worth of; understand fully; to grasp the nature, quality, or significance of; to value.

Do we have a friend, someone mostly everyone loves to be around? We admire this person; we love them and may even wish we could be more like them.

Nevertheless—we must get out of that mind set and appreciate who God made us to be. We need to draw from Jesus’ character and grow it in our own character.

No one is perfect. We all sin and fall short of God’s glory. Yet still, we can all learn from each other. We need to remember that and we need to appreciate our friend in the light God intended, all while loving our ourselves, appreciating who God is in us, and growing in His character.

“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, to be like us….” (Genesis 1:26 ISV).

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” (Psalms 139:14 NKJV).

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
Thank You for giving me rest and peace as I follow you…

Fearless – not afraid; very brave; strong willed; bold; oblivious of dangers; calmly resolute in facing obstacles.

As we trust in Jesus, we should be fearless. When we have confidence in Jesus, we should be courageous. As we fear nothing and are courageous in all things, we can do all things. It’s just a matter of deductive reasoning.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 NIV).

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13 NLT).

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
I adore You endlessly…

Recognize – to acknowledge the existence of; to accept or be aware that (something) is true; realize; to treat as valid.

No matter where we are in our lives, there may be times when we feel a sense of loss. We may feel like we have accomplished little and don’t have enough to show for it. How in the world does it escape us that we are children of God and are heirs to His kingdom? It’s beyond wonder—but it has been official from before we were even in our mommies tummies—we are heirs to the kingdom of God, and have far more riches than we realize…

Recognizing what is rightfully ours in Christ—peace, security, faith, and clarity in knowing who we are, and whose we are, is included in our true inheritance along with salvation, eternal life, wisdom, power, mercy, and grace—just to name a few…

“But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12 NLT).

“For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.” (Romans 8:16-17 NLT).

“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called–his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.” (Ephesians 1:18 NLT).

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
Establish my thoughts…

Predetermine – to settle, ordain, or establish in advance; predestine; to decide or decree beforehand.

The progressive spiritual revelation and realization of our predetermined good life in Jesus is the beginning of our success. It is why it’s important to spend quality time with the Lord—to deliberately set a time where we can read the bible, pray, meditate, listen, and be guided by the Holy Spirit to do His will in our lives…

There is no better lifestyle, no better feeling when we make spending time with our maker a part of our daily lifestyle.

“Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare. (Psalm 40:5 NIV).

“Entrust your efforts to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.”
(Proverbs 16:3 GWT).

Good Morning Holy Spirit…
Thank you for Your unlimited guidance…

Confess – to openly declare faith in or adherence to; admit; to acknowledge to God; to tell or make known.

Most of us have confessed with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, and we believe with our hearts that God raised Him from the dead—allowing us to be born again. How exciting for us. After confession, we instinctively know life as we know it has immediately changed. Everything is new and we now feel the endless possibilities within ourselves, we may not see them, but we know it’s there—ready for us to obtain.

We love God and believe His son, Jesus Christ, died for our sins, which we know is absolutely the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for us, yet, we are still falling short of the life we know we are suppose to be living. Why is that? Even though we are constantly asking God for help, we are still falling short. What could possibly be our problem? Could it be lack of action on our part?

At some point in time we all have to make a conscious decision to respond to God and what Jesus did for mankind on the cross. The time is now! Let’s act on our belief, let’s act on what we ask for.

“My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain.” (Ezekiel 33:31 NIV).

“Dear children, we must show love through actions that are sincere, not through empty words.” (1 John 3:18 GWT).

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,” (Acts 3:19 NIV).
